Mrs. Sabel’s grade six students in division 4 had a wonderful learning opportunity at Simon Fraser University. They worked in a crime lab and through the scientific process, the students used different techniques from forensic science to solve a crime. They had to use their knowledge of chemistry, botany, biology, and psychology to piece together clues. In addition, they learned about the importance of collecting data.
